I've known Rhiannon since she was about 5 years old. She's a beautiful soul and a gifted artist. It's been amazing to watch her grow up and find her voice and lean into her passions. Rhiannon wants to try her hand at modeling next, and I'm lucky to have been the photographer she chose for her first set of headshots.
I've had this dream of finding a family that was willing (and excited) to wear holiday-themed pj's for a family session, and you guys, the Peterson family made this dream come true! Shannon was so great to work and plan with. She headed to Target to find the perfect pj's for her family and was texting me excitedly the whole time - trying the find just the right ones. She settled on the elves with baby Santa, and it could not have been more perfect!
As Shannon was getting ready to check out, she happened to see that there was a set that resembled an adult Christmas tree and quickly grabbed those too, and the result was perfectly hilarious and adorable.
I could not be more happy with these images and am so thankful that the whole family was willing to hang out with me in their pj's and have fun. I look forward to many more family pajama sessions in the future.
My friends Anna and Ryan have the most ridiculously, adorable little boy. He's 16 months old and so full of joy it would make the even the biggest grinch smile.
Tonight I got the honor to photograph this wonderful family. I was so excited to try out the holiday setup in the studio, and my models did not disappoint. Getting a 16 month old to cooperate and stay in a very small space isn't the easiest task in the world, but both Anna and Ryan rolled with it. They stayed super positive and helped me guide little man back onto the backdrop over and over again. Between that and singing about a thousand rounds of "Itsy Bitsy Spider," I think I may have to offer them a job as my new studio assistants.
Thanks again, Langrill family! You guys rocked it!
